財政学、特に財政民主主義、スイスを中心に研究しています。
「どうすれば、税や予算に民意が反映されていると感じられるようになるのか」に主に関心があります。
博論～単著までは、スイスを題材に研究していましたが、現在は日本の財政民主主義についても研究しています。●単著の紹介記事
・スイスインフォというスイスの現地の公営メディアでの紹介記事：「どうすれば財政に自分の意見が反映される？スイスに見る「財政民主主義」のエッセンス」（日本語版）
・学会誌以外でも、雑誌『地平』などで紹介記事を掲載頂きました。
・こちらの記事では、職場の政治学者の先生方と、もう少し突っ込んだ議論をしています。
