- A Voice Verification based Examinee Authentication in Multiple-Choice e-Testing
Taisuke Kawamata; Tsubasa Hattori; Toru Kano; Takako Akakura, To detect proxy test-taking in online exam, we focused on speaker verification, which is a biometric authentication method using voice input, and developed a test system by using a microphone, which is a cheap and widely-used device. Experimental results showed that the accuracy of this procedure is higher than the writer verification in previous research. In addition, the voice response system using a microphone was found to reduce the psychological burden on examinees compared with video monitoring., Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers
