  • 住民の水防災意識の向上に向けたマイ・タイムライン開発のための社会実験
    里村 真吾; 伊藤 哲司; 富岡 秀顯; 鮎川 一史; 須藤 純一; 伊藤 克雄; 平出 亮輔; 神達 岳志; 溝上 博; 小林 弘; 川島 宏一; 白川 直樹, 平成27年9月関東・東北豪雨災害により，茨城県常総市では市の面積のおよそ三分の一が浸水し，避難の遅れや孤立が発生した．これを踏まえ，逃げ遅れゼロを目指して，住民一人ひとりが自分自身の家族構成や生活環境に合った避難に必要な情報・判断・行動を把握し，自分の逃げ方を手に入れるためのマイ・タイムラインの検討手法を開発した．開発に当たっては，のべ165人の常総市住民の参加を得てマイ・タイムラインを検討しており，参加住民のアンケート結果等から，検討の過程で水害リスクに関する知識と心構えが共有され，避難等の危機管理に関する住民自身の具体的な防災行動が事前に整理され，備えられることが示された．, 公益社団法人 土木学会

  • Prospects for a Research Dialog toward the World: Considering the Cross-Border Concept of “Adaptation”　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
    ITO Tetsuji, In this thesis, there is an attempt to reveal the meanings when the concept, adaptation is applied to the boundaries of the following three axes: academic field/genre; country/region; and era/time. These three axis are a framework in which a multifaceted review of the concepts used in, for example, developmental psychology. The purpose of this thesis is to undertake a conceptual and theoretical examination of the concept, adaptation. The results revealed that the concept is not self-evident. It may mean that human beings themselves change and that external matter, namely, the physical and social environment changes. Furthermore, it is clear that there is a different form of adaptation that cannot be seen only by living in a certain country/region during a certain era/time. Finally, the difficulty and the necessity of crossing boundaries are discussed.

  • Poverty in the Context of Equality : Families Living on the Water in Hue, Vietnam
    Ito Tetsuji, Although everyone should in theory be regarded as equal in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, in fact this is not the case. Most families have numerous children, and most do not attend school due to poverty. Based on field research conducted in 2006, the life world of families living on the water is described, and the problem of poverty in the context of equality is discussed. General problems affecting these families and children include lack of birth certificates or registration and insufficient access to medical services. On the other hand, a type of "richness" is found especially in terms of the children's active expression. The question of what psychological supports are available for these people should be the focus of future research., Japan Society of Developmental Psychology
